start a scholarship fund

With being privileged to have access to so many resources, I want to connect with people, and start a scholarship fund which enables students to get higher education or even start a sustainable movement within their home country. I hope I can act as the link and make a difference even in one person's life.

This is novel and indeed impressing one! I have just started taking it, but I resolve to leave instantly.

The measure used here to determinewhich travel destination (ie local vs overseas) is more environmentally friendly, is the total amount of carbon footprint. I feel the answer depends on how far you travel, If one were to take single flight overseas vs someone using the car but covering the same distance, the carbon footprint of local travel would be higher.

I buy organic whenever I can because organic food is better for the environment in terms of it being produced with no pesticides.

Take public Transport to UNi

I am going to continue taking the train and bus to get to university. Not only can I relax on the commute, but taking public transport also contributes to the reducing emissions. Plus, you can catch up with your friends on the way!

Taking an even bigger step!

I have been accepted into the 40K Globe foundation for a summer internship working in rural India! I am so excited I can get out there and help make a positive change in the energy and water sectors of such a great social business, creating clean renewable energy access to those in India that don't have power and helping make clean water more accessable. I am very excited and nervous for the culture shock I know I will get, but hopefully it will only push me to continue in working towards creating a more positive and sustainable world!

teach my colleagues

The company I work with in India, employs a lot of staff which are very capable in their work but lack the skill of speaking English. I will Skype them for an extra hour each week to go over some basic conversations and greetings and teach them accounting to my best ability in English.

support social equality

Given the social inequalities that continue to persist in society, I'd like to make a pledge and continue to take action against social inequality, whether it be famine, sexism, racism.
